Dear Friends,
As you know Michael Tisius is scheduled to be executed in our name on June 6th . Michael deserves Governor Parson’s mercy. I have attached the clemency petition his attorneys filed with the Governor’s office. Please read it and share it with your friends and family. Note that the papal nuncio has pled for mercy for Michael on behalf of Pope Francis.
If you haven’t already, PLEASE contact the Governor’s office!! You can find the petition on the MADP link https://madp.salsalabs.org/clemencyformichaeltisius/index.html

“Hi, my name is _____, and I live in [city and zip code]. I am calling today to ask that Governor Parson grant clemency to Michael Tisius, who is scheduled to be executed on June 6th. Michael was only 19 at the time of the crime and should not be eligible for execution. He is a model prisoner, and his life has value. Please use your executive powers and spare Michael from execution.”
Unless clemency is granted, we will be leaving the Cardinal Rigali Center (20 Archbishop May Drive) at 4pm on Tuesday June 6th to bear witness outside the prison walls to our opposition to his execution through prayer and reflections.
Please let me know if you would like to reserve a seat on the bus. You are welcome and encouraged to bring others with you.Fr Mitch Doyen will be leading the pilgrimage if we need to go.
Thank you for your commitment to life!
Marie
